ABOUT PILATES
Pilates is a body conditioning programme suitable for all ages and abilities to build strength, work on lengthening muscles and to create alignment and balance.
Pilates is a great form of exercise for core strength, to increase flexibility, draw awareness to the body and improve posture.
Movements can alleviate pain over time and improve mental and physical wellbeing, reducing likelihood of future injury.
Designed by Joseph Pilates, this programme is based on six fundamental principles of exercise: Breathing / Centering / Concentration / Control / Flow and Precision.
“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”
Joe Pilates.
